BIO

My love of art began at a young age with a cheap box of water color paints and continued through my childhood and teen years with anything I could get my hands on. Oddly enough, a camera was never one of those things. I later went on to attend Northeastern University, where I studied Music Industry, because anything with the word "industry" in it seemed like a more practical choice than fine art.  During my sophomore year, I took a photography course and fell in love with the medium.  I then began to pursue it on my own, as Northeastern did not offer many photo courses or the option to declare it as a major.  I took on several photography internships throughout my college career in an effort to learn the ropes.  Initially I became a music photographer by default, being that I was the only person in the music department with a decent camera and a vague idea as to how to use it.  I learned and continue to learn through much trial-and-error and guidance from a lot of talented, generous artists who I am extremely lucky to know.

After fourteen years of shooting, I have moved into doing a much wider variety of work.  I am currently concentrating mostly on branding content for small businesses, food, fashion, music, and wedding photography.  Though my focus has changed slightly, my philosophy remains the same:  Life is a work of art in itself.  My goal is to create work that reflects this.

I currently reside in Boston, MA and when I'm not shooting, I can usually be found surfing, drinking too much coffee, and/or watching bad horror movies.
